Ableton Live And Serato Scratch: Ben From Passions Talks About Performing Live

March 20, 2008
Ben From Passions

In this audio interview, Bill Holland talks to Ben from Passions about the gear he uses live and in studio. For Live PA sets, Ben likes Ableton, however he doesn't think it translates well to DJ sets. For those, he prefers the more tactile Serato Scratch because its the closest thing out there to vinyl. And in studio, Ben sticks with Logic.

Ben also shares some horror stories about road rigors. He claims that he's been pretty lucky in that aspect. Aside from a broken monitor, a falling laptop and a gashed face, Ben and his gear remain relatively unscathed.
