Ableton Live In Performance: Where It All Begins For Antennas Up
We all know Ableton Live is capable of more than just recording. This multi-faceted DAW has found favor with musicians of all stripes looking for a more sophisticated way of using prerecorded audio in performance, from simple backing tracks to replacing entire DJ setups. Antennas Up takes Live one step further and uses the program as whole-show control, triggering everything from looped audio to their stage lighting sequences.
We interviewed Antennas Up frontman, bassist, and resident gear-head Kyle Akers about how the band integrates Live with their live show. Hear that interview below, and for the full story, also check out our interview with Kyle where he talks about the LanBox DMX lighting controller.
