Abstract Data Kicker: New Kick Drum And Low-Frequency Percussion Synth

July 19, 2010
Abstract Data Kicker is an analog kick drum and low-frequency percussion synthesizer featuring controls for attack, and more.

Now available in a limited-edition run, the new Abstract Data Kicker is a kick drum and low-frequency percussion synthesizer.

This little drum machine -- black with chrome hardware, about the size of a standard effect pedal -- is all analog and is especially good for creating punchy, aggressive, low-frequency sounds. The Kicker offers dual sine-wave oscillators with independent Pitch control, a Punch switch for controlling high-impact sounds, an Attack switch and Envelope Decay control, and more. It can be triggered using line-level audio or a CV pulse, and you can use it to create kick drums, sub drops, bass hits, and much more.
