Akai EWIUSB Serenades All Geeks With Sweet Somethings

January 16, 2009
Akai EWIUSB Winter NAMM 09
The Akai EWIUSB is one of those rare digital-based instruments that still gives you the feel and the look of an oldschool musician, and not just some knob-tweaker. Not like there's anything wrong with knob-tweakers . . . but still, there is something rare and beautiful about the intimate physical relationship you get with this device.

This thing is sooo cooool, now no one has to worry about embouchere, soggy reeds or expense of several instruments to get to that sound.Just plugin and play. The downside tho is many have spent alot of years to get to that sound they cherish with study and practice that now is possible thru an USB device instantaneously.
