Akai MPK25 Winter NAMM 2009 Video: MPK25 Wins MPMPK Award (Most Petite MPK)
January 17, 2009
While the APC40 may garner the majority of the attention from the NAMM-going press, the Akai MPK25 is no slouch. Building off the success of the Akai MPK49, the MPK25 expands the MPK line by making it smaller: you still get twelve MPC-style percussion pads, transport controls and a generous selection of rotary knobs, but this version sports only twenty-five keys for a far more compact and portable controller.
Check out the video to see how the laptop DJ might use the MPK25 and the APC40 in tandem.
