In addition to the Xone:PB patchbay, Allen & Heath will be introducing its new XD-40 headphones at the upcoming 2010 MusikMesse show.

The XD-40 monitoring headphones join the company's the flagship XD-53 headphones in Allen & Heath's Xone range. This pair is said to offer excellent audio fidelity in a compact, lightweight format. The XD-40 has 40 mm neodymium drivers, 40 ohm impedance, 103 dB sensitivity, a 15 Hz to 28 kHz frequency response, and a relatively light weight of 220 g, and they can handle up to 1.3W of power.

With a closed-cup design, the XS-40s provide good isolation from ambient noise with minimal bleed. For easy cueing, they sport a 90-degree angle swivel earpiece.
