In making the Xone:DX, Allen & Heath and Serato Audio Research put two good things into one controller. The new Xone:DX controller offers Allen & Heath's solid design and functionality along with complete integration with Serato's new 4-deck Serato Itch software.

The Xone:DX features a 20-channel 24-bit, 96 kHz USB soundcard, the ability to send up to 168 individual MIDI control messages, two dual-layer deck simulators, and RIAA / phono inputs for external decks. The controller also offers a central four-channel mixer section that directly manipulates the DSP mixing within the computer.

It comes with a full version of Serato Itch software, which lends the unit 4-deck control, a comprehensive set of digital effects, looping and time-stretching functions, and more. The Xone:DX is compatible with other major DJ software brands as well, not just Serato.
