Alto Professional SXA28p, Alto Professional SX18p Subwoofer Debut With Line Array Series
Numark Industries' latest acquisition, Alto Professional, announced the new Line Array series of speakers for live performance reinforcement.
Consisting of the SXA28p speaker and the SX18p subwoofer, the Line Array series is engineered to deliver a nearly limitless array of configuration options, allowing you to incorporate as many or as few drivers as needed for any short or medium throw environment. The new Line Arrays are also built to endure the rigors of the road night after night, while maintaining a sound that is loud, clean, and uncolored, according to Alto.
The SXA28p is a two-way passive speaker with two 8-inch drivers and two 1-inch drivers. Each speaker is rated at 400W Continuous, 800W Program, or 1,600W Peak. Ideal for installations, tours, or rentals, each SXA28p is designed to be used individually or stacked together for larger jobs.
The SXA18p is an 18-inch vented line array subwoofer capable of handling 750W Continuous, 1,500W Program, or 3,000W Peak. Alto notes that the SXA18p is ideal for obtaining clean, deep frequencies and is capable of delivering 129 dB Peak SPL.
