Ampeg BA600 115 Bass Combo Can Probably Be Picked Up with One Hand
January 09, 2009
The heavy bottom on this bass amp does not make it cumbersome, sayeth Owen O'Malley. He actually doesn't say that, but he does imply that the Ampeg BA600 115 Bass Combo is pretty light for what it's packed with. He likes it better than most of the amps we've had through here, and if you've seen the Akai Headrush video, you know we see a lotta amps.

Nice!
Very nice feel!
NO EXTERNAL SPEAKER OUT?
WTF? I mean.... why? Makes no sense, would be amazing to have that. Whoops to ampeg, lost half the customers that would have bought this amp for that cos I'm looking for a gigging rig and this would have been perfect.
silly ampeg
Runs great, needs new bearings.
I thought the lack of a speaker out was a dealbreaker when the range only went to 200 watts. 600 Watts is so much more than one 15" or two 10"s can use, it's a complete waste. And how about a head version? Crate is good at finding just the right thing to do wrong.
The bass combo is so
The bass combo is so amazing. There is so much that you can do with it. I see such a great future using it. It is a must have.
