Apogee Announces Product Compatibility With Mac OS X Lion
Sweeping through the world's family of large cats, Apple unleashed Mac OS X Lion in the App Store. To go along with the new OS, Apogee announced complete compatibility with this Lion update. Rar. The following Apogee products are fully compatible with Mac OS X Lion: Duet 2, GiO, JAM, ONE, and Symphony I/O.
Starting today, you can update your Apogee units to work with Lion, if need be. Before updating, make sure you read the Apogee Product Compatibility Overview: Mac OS X Lion. Also make sure that your Apogee product is registered with the company. Before you get the update, you should back up your date and check compatibility with your plugins or third-party apps.
If you're more than ready to update but your Apogee product isn't a Duet 2, GiO, JAM, ONE, or Symphony I/O, just wait a little bit longer for your unit to be Lion-ready.
Apogee notes that its engineering department is working diligently to test and update software for other products. If uninterrupted operation of your studio is critical, please wait for an official Lion OS compatibility message from Apogee, which will be posted on Apogee's Web site and sent by email to all registered users.
