Apogee has released an update to its X-HD card to make its converters easier to integrate with the Pro Tools HD3 recording setup. This update will make their AD-16X, DA-16X, and any Rosetta 800 or 200 series converter more directly able to connect to a Pro Tools HD3 rig.

This update eliminates the need for any additional interface, simplifying the setup for users taking advantage of Apogee's high-quality converters.

The release of the X-HD v.2 update improves the emulation of the converters when used with Pro Tools. This means setting up inputs and outputs and compensating for auto delay is entirely possible with no ill effects on the configurations of your converters or channel counts.
