The ART TubeFire 8, which was in preliminary stages at NAMM is now complete come AES and ready to ship. The TubeFire 8 gives you eight high-quality Class-A vacuum tube mic preamps with FireWire connectivity. The TubeFire 8 really puts the "fire" in FireWire because it warms up your sound!

The ART mic preamps bring on the gain cleanly and quietly but effectively as well. Each mic preamp offers a 1/4-inch TRS input as well, and all inputs have -10dB Pad, High Pass filter, Phase Invert clip indicators, and an LED meter for level monitoring.

The eight balanced outputs can be summed to an integrated headphone out to provied mono or stereo mix functions for low latency monitoring of the unit's ins as well as computer playback. As an added bonus, Cubase LE comes with the TubeFire 8 as it does with pretty much anything that connects to a computer.
