Arturia Analog Laboratory Now Shipping
Introduced a month ago at the 129th AES convention, Arturia Analog Laboratory is now shipping.
Analog Laboratory, a software synthesizer workstation, offers 3,500 classic synthesizer sounds, along with an intuitive user interface for tweaking and editing each sound. Its many sounds were selected from Arturia's collection of Classic Synths, including minimoog-V, Moog modular V, CS-80V, Prophet-V, ARP2600 V, and Jupiter-8V.
In addition, Analog Laboratory includes 200 scenes organized by genres, including drum loops and advanced arpeggiation melodies. The workstation's full-screen preset editing (for owners of Arturia Classic Analog recreations only) allows you to open any other Arturia Classic Synth plugin in a separate window for in-depth patch editing. Using the full-screen editing functions, you can also assign any of Analog Laboratory's four key parameters to one knob of choice inside the software synthesizer currently in use.
In Scene mode, you can combine 2 synthesizer sounds over a MIDI keyboard in either split, layer, or multi configuration; assign melodic phrases based on advanced arpeggiation thanks to the library of 200 melodies organized by genres; and trigger Drum loops from the pads, due to a library of 350 REX files.
Other notable features include the ability to organize presets and filter the presets, plus MIDI Learn controllers (1 clickable encoder, 10 encoders, 8 sliders, 11 switches, 1 modulation wheel, and 1 pitch bend wheel).
