Groovebox CEO Asa Doyle talks digital recording
August 30, 2006
Groovebox CEO and President Asa Doyle talks about the pitfalls and pleasures of digital recording. As the head of a company that makes tutorials for the leading DAW software, Doyle's got plenty of great advice to offer those new to Cubase, Pro Tools and other digital workstations. He recommends a highly fussy approach to audio levels, obsessive-compulsive manual reading, and bold experimentation. Doyle says DAW newcomers can avoid serious migranes simply by checking the vendor's system compatibility listings to see which computers will make your DAW sing like a bird.
