Ashdown Little Giant 350 And Ashdown Little Giant 1000: Very Small Head, Very Strong Watts

Ashdown Little Giant

Imagine being able to fit your bass amp head and your bass in your gig bag simultaneously. If you like that thought, perhaps you should invest in Ashdown's Little Giant 350, or if you're really looking for something wild, try the Little Giant 1000.

The Little Giant 350 [which I like to call the Jolly Green Little Giant for its fluorescent green exterior] pumps out 350 watts of power. The Little Giant 1000 [which is fluorescent orange] blasts 1000 watts of power. Both amps weigh less than eight pounds.

Both Little Giants pack in tons of shared features including switchable active / passive inputs, 7-band semi-parametric EQ, deep and shape switches, and an input level control and meter, output level control and power switch, and that's just the front panel. On the back, you've got a pre/post switchable balanced DI out, FX send and return, a line in, a line out, and a couple of combination Speakon / Jack speaker outputs.

Ashdown's Mark Gooday commented on the magic that happens when you plug the Little Giants into your cab:

“You almost can’t believe what you’re hearing . . . You pull this tiny amp out of the pocket of your gig bag and the next thing you know, the stage fills with a deep, powerful sound. It’s stunning!”
