Audio Technica AT2021 Pencil Condenser, Audio Technica ATHM10 Headphones Seek Engineer With Discriminating Taste (Video)

November 15, 2010
Audio Technica AT2021, Audio Technica ATHM10, 129th AES 2010

Since its introduction, the AT2020 has become one of the best-selling, large-diaphragm condensers under $200. It only makes sense that Audio Technica would introduce a small-diaphragm instrument mic to complement the 2020. The AT2021 pencil condenser was introduced at the 129th AES show, and we took a close look at this new budget contender.

Also intro'd at the show were the new Audio Technica ATHM10 closed-back headphones. These cans will retail for about thirty bucks, making them an excellent choice for low-cost tracking monitoring or better-than-average casual listening.
