AudioMulch 2.0

In a move that shocked the very foundations of the internet, AudioMulch announces that AudioMulch 2.0 is nearing completion and will tenatively be released on May 1, 2009. If you think this is just an upgrade, think again. AudioMulch 2.0 is such a giant leap that it might as well have its own name.

The interactive music studio makes way for a myriad of new features, and for those of you used to 1.0, it's backwards compatible, so it still provides all the great features you've come to know and love. Here are some improvements:

  • Significant performance increases for audio processing (up to twice the efficiency in some cases)
  • Patchable MIDI routing
  • MIDI and Automation control of Metasurface, tempo and transport
  • Support for complex time signatures including automated time signature changes and additive meters
  • Improved support for consumer multichannel audio
  • Settings for enabling audio, MIDI and network functions at start-up

It should also be noted that the user interface in 2.0 has been completely rebuilt. You might notice some new tools. Here's what's in your kit:

  • A new Patcher with advanced drag-and-drop patching
  • Dockable windows improving multi-monitor operation
  • Faster access to MIDI control and parameter values
  • Floating Parameter Control (formerly Parameter Modulation) window
  • Nameable contraption presets
