As of right now, all Audio-Technica BP892 MicroSet Headworn Mic units come standard with the new AT8464 Dual Ear Mount.

The AT8464 allows a single ear-worn BP892 MicroSet Headworn Mic to be converted to a dual ear-worn unit and maintain the same levels of stability and comfort. The AT8464 ear mount easily converts the mic to left or right wearing positions, and the continuously adjustable headband fits both children and adults. It features a durable, lightweight design with an included cord clip, and is available in both black and theater beige.

This new add-on makes the BP892s easier to use for broadcast, live sound, theater, ENG, house-of-worship, and fitness applications, according to the manufacturer. The ear mount ships with all new BP892 systems (starting at $419), and it is also sold separately ($48) for users who want to retrofit their existing BP892 and AT892 units (the AT892 is the predecessor to the BP892).
