Audio-Technica PRO 70: A Microphone Video Condensed

December 29, 2008
Audio-Technica PRO 70 Sones de Mexico

When you have to mic up or plug in as many folk instruments as the Sones de Mexico ensemble has to, you learn a little bit about what works best. Juan Dies shows us the Audio-Technica PRO 70. It's a condenser mic that captures his instruments in a very natural way, but beware, Juan warns, as these things are capturing machines and may pick up too much noise.

It's almost like Audio-Technica channeled Dog The Bounty Hunter in an instrument mic.
