AudioWarrior mellows out with their Studio Tron Plugin. It includes eight second tape samples of Mellotron that have been dehissed, mastered, looped and program for use with Kreator. All loops can be turned off to simulate the effect of voices ending at variable times.
The Mellotron relies on a bank of magnetic audio tapes in parallel linear with about eight seconds of playing time. Playback heads beneath each key trigger the pre-recorded sound assigned to the pressed key. With AudioWarrior Studio Tron Plugin, those sounds come back in 24-bit / 44.1 kHz quality, and they include:
