Audix USB12: Plug And Play USB Mic Handles Range Of Computer Applications

July 08, 2008
Audix USB12 Gooseneck USB Mic

Audix goes plug and play with their new USB12 Microphone. As you probably have astutely deduced by now, it's a USB microphone. If I am correct in this assessment, pat yourself on the back with a gold star. You deserve it!

The USB12 is a gooseneck microphone that serves many applications including podcasting, live chat, conferences and even recording voice or acoustic instruments. It features a 12 mm modular threaded capsule and supports 44.1 and 48 kHz sample rates whether you're using a Hodgman or a Long.

The USB12 also features a membrane switch that selects between "steady on" or "momentary on" for if you're really serious about this mic or if you want to keep things open. More features still include a heavy duty base, a double gooseneck, a headphone jack and a bass roll-off filter.

A six foot USB cable is included with the USB12. The mic itself is available in a matte black finish or a white finish to match your decorum.
