AweSome Musical Instruments Pickup Tone Multiplier T2-Board Switching System Introduced
From Detroit, Michigan, AweSome Musical Instruments announced the Pickup Tone Multiplier T2-Board, a switching system that lets you modify your two-pickup right-hand or left-hand electric guitar, bass, and other instruments to double the Pure Virgin Analog (PVA) pickup tones instantly.
The new Pickup Tone Multiplier T2-Board doubles the PVA pickup tones on all two-pickup instruments. So what it is, exactly? Based on the company's Pickup Tone Multiplier (PTM) switching system, the T2-Board is a 1" x 3" board with three switches on it. According to AweSome, the board lets you get 100 percent more pickup tones that are "silently hiding in your instrument." Because the T2-Board gives you two times more pickup tones, you are better able to find that elusive Signature Sound you desperately want, AweSome says.
Assembled and ready to go, the T2-Board will fit in nearly every two-pickup instrument. Ideal for the DIYer, it includes a solderless terminal strip for connecting your two pickups, plus controls for easy installation. Instructions are available via download from the AweSome Musical Instruments Web site.
According to the manufacturer, installing the T2-Board will convert your instrument into a super instrument capable of emulating myriad well-known, famous sounds, eliminating the need to change instruments for a particular sound or style. The pickup sounds you get will depend on the pickups you are using.
When your two-pickup instrument is equipped with this switching system, you can select any of the six pickup tones that you need to blend in with the group, as well as use a different pickup tone that lets you "stand out" from the crowd. AweSome notes that this is the only product that gives you two times more Pure Virgin Analog pickup tone choices.
All AweSome Musical Instruments products are designed to give you more Pure Virgin Analog pickup tones and are made in the U.S. Other new releases include the Hyper-Mod Stratocaster Pickguards, the Telecaster Hyper-Mod, and the Jazz Bass Hyper-Mod.

Hype much?
Good grief! Could the hype be any thicker on that announcement? And absolutely NO useful information about the product itself... their web site is just as thick with it.
Mind you, if you dig deep enough (and manage not to choke on the sheer "awsomeness" of the site), you find it's actually a REALLY useful addition for quickly accessing regular/reverse phase and series/parallel wiring patterns without having to rip open and rewire your guitar to do it.
hype is really true
having modded numerous instruments for over a decade, their products are amazing because they completely simplify all of the labor-intensive and fragile wiring needed to put together instruments that give you access to all the pickup coil permutations.
