New for the Badwater series of guitars, the AXL Badwater Semi-Hollowbody electric guitar ($324.99 MAP) maintains the company's signature distressed Badwater finish and adds dual-humbuckers to the design.

Built with a set maple neck, two EMG-designed Alnico humbuckers, and a classic-style semi-hollow body, the Badwater Semi-Hollowbody (AE-820) stands apart from other guitars in the series; its rosewood fretboard delivers a warm, thick tone, while the traditional scale length of 24.75 inches gives it a vintage punch. Available in antique white and matte sunburst finishes, each guitar body is unique, with its own individually applied distressed finish.

The Badwater Semi-Hollowbody comes with a distressed pickguard, tone and volume knobs, anodized tuning machines, bridge assembly, and strap buttons. AXL expects to ship it in January of 2010.
