Basone Basbird Electric Guitar: Basone Line Features Basbird First, Pot Guitar Later
Basone Guitars' new guitar line is just getting rolling, and it kicks off with the Basone Basbird. The Basbird's design is reminiscent of the Firebird shape, and a lot of work goes into maintaining its nice body.
The Basbird has a Honduran mahogany body with an orange-stained bookmatched flamed maple top to preserve the natural patterns of each piece of wood. A 24-fret ebony fretboard with mahogany binding and a flamed AAA maple neck also grace the Basbird.
It also comes with Sperzel tuners and Superbridge. This high performance bridge and saddle system comes from GuitarTech and TonePro labs to soup up the Basbird's hardware. It's also packing a pair of custom-made zebra humbuckers.
Like all Basone guitars, the Basbird is handcrafted in Canada and can be completely customized. More guitars from Bason should be out soon including some interestingly shaped guitars. Check out the Smoker's Delight -- a $3,000 guitar with a body shaped like a marijuana leaf.
