Basone Guitars Talon: Clawing Its Way To The Live Show Scene With Powerful Flashes Of Light
A character from the movie "School of Rock" named Freddy said, "Come on man, we're on a mission. One great rock show can change the world." Now, how can a show be great without those flashy lights and fireworks? Flash and spectacle are key items that some musicians would use to create the most amazing show they could ever conceive, and KISS was one of those bands who put that concept to extreme heights. A way to begin this is to start with the musicians themselves, and the new Basone Guitars Talon will certainly bring those splashes of lights and color to make that show a lot more interesting.
The Talon has aesthetics like no other. The finish can certainly be compared to either chameleon or a prism as it changes color from blue to purple to gold under certain lighting conditions. A peculiar stability arm is also featured, creating that extra link between the body and the neck. There is also a 10-milliwatt laser fixed on the headstock, and the fingerboard inlays are fitted with Starlight LEDs. All of these lights are controlled by mini switches.
More than just flash, the Talon has sounds that is as beautiful as it looks. PRS Dragon II pickups, Gotoh 510 mini tuners, Graphtec Resomax Bridge and nut, chambered bookmatched Honduran Mahogany/Maple hybrid body, and a B.C. flamed maple neck all contribute to a tone like no other. Being at one point made as a custom job, the combination of beautiful tone and aesthetics would have just made that first customer like a happy kid coming out of a candy store with a bag of favorites.
