The Bee Basses GBC Custom Nine-String Bass
GREGORY BRUCE CAMPBELL: This is the Bee Basses Gregory Bruce Campbell Signature Model. I'm Gregory Bruce Campbell, and I had Fred build me this bass, Fred Bolton from Bee Basses. It's a nine-string. All the specs are divisible by the number nine just for fun, and it starts with a low F-Sharp [GREGORY BRUCE CAMPBELL PLAYS LOW F-SHARP STRING] and goes to a high B-Flat so it's got some range. It's a lot of fun to play, a very aggressive-sounding instrument. I love 80s guitar so Fred allowed me to have kind of an 80s flair to the design here, and it's got Bird's Eye Maple top, Alder back, nine bolts to fit with the divisible-by-nine concept, Bird's Eye headstock to match the top of the instrument, Mapleheart -- excuser me, Mapleheart -- Purpleheart pickup cover, Purpleheart fretboard, Hipshot hardware, Arrow brand tuner, so.
