Behringer Acoustic Modeler AM400 Allows You To Get Subtle Without Having To Touch A Grandpa's Guitar

Behringer AM400

I imagine that Behringer City is a heck of a lot like that episode of I Love Lucy where Lucy gets a job at the chocolate factory. Instead of delicious, delicious chocolates, a wide load of pedals sail down the conveyor belt, and the latest journeyman across Behringer's manufacturing process is the Acoustic Modeler AM400.

The AM400 gives you a choice between four different acoustic models: standard, large, piezo and bright. It utilizes BEHRINGER Real Sound Modeling technology to simulate acoustic sounds. Other controls include Resonance, Level and Attack for further customization of the models. It even has built-in Reverb to give your tone a little bit of extra aura.

Fast Features:

  • Achieve realistic acoustic guitar modeling using any electric guitar
  • Real Sound Modeling (RSM) combines state-of-the-art DSP technology with sophisticated algorithms to emulate real acoustic environments
  • Four authentic acoustic simulations: standard, large, piezo and bright with built-in reverb, optimized for acoustic-guitar simulation
  • Two individual outputs enable easy switching between electric and acoustic guitar sounds when using two separate amps
  • Blue status LED for effect on / off and battery check
  • Runs on 9V battery or the BEHRINGER PSU-SB DC power supply (not included)
  • First-class electronic On / Off switch for highest signal integrity in bypass mode
  • High-quality components and exceptionally rugged construction ensure long life
  • Conceived and designed by BEHRINGER Germany
