Bela D Media gets all shady with their release of DSynth | Shadows of Luminosity for KONTAKT. It's a power tool equipped with some unique synthetic sounds and instruments. It's composer can pretty effortlessly create arrangements of music in any style, perfect for film scoring.

This two DVD set started and continued its journey through product life as a work in progress. It's full of raw materials like samples that get you started, but their openness allows for modification and manipulation into custom banks and patches.

Bela D Media lets users utilize the DARP scripting method to work with DSynth. It's capable of pattern recording in real-time and in step and it includes an arpeggiator and a drum machine. Its six-part "wave sequencing" features can create patterns that trigger "round robin" or "cycling" style.

Finally, DSynth is divided into nine categories of color coded sounds. The category names refer to the sound of a patch rather than the method of synthesis used to create each patch. They are:
