What's old is new again, with the Beta Monkey Music Classic Backbeats II ($24.99) collection of retro rock drum loops and samples.

This drum library is made up of the versatile, vintage grooves of the 1950s and 1960s, hence the name Classic Backbeats. To make this collection, Beta Monkey Music sampled off a vintage Ludwig Black Oyster 1960s drum kit in various feels and styles, and organized them into eight tempo-based Groove Folders.

In all, the collection includes 285 loops and 60 multi-Velocity drum kit and cymbal samples ideal for any type of rock, not just retro. All content is available in ACIDized 16-bit and 24-bit WAV format and 24-bit Apple Loops (AIFF) format on a single DVD.
