What's new from Big Fish Audio? Ambient Skyline 2, the second installment in a series of ambient and cinematic chill-out loops, rhythm beds, and samples created exclusively by Funk / Soul Productions.

The Ambient Skyline 2 sample library features 6 GB of 24-bit original content, with 796 loops and 892 one-shots all formatted for ACIDized WAV, REX, RMX, and Apple Loops. You can use these loops and sounds to create the perfect musical bed and ambient masterpiece on the fly.

The loop section includes the following: ambient drum loops, ambient guitar arpeggios, ambient guitar loops, ambient pad loops, ambient percussion loops, ambient rhodes loops, electric bass loops, ambient pedal steel loops, and tonal percussion loops.

Likewise, the one-shot sample section includes ambient female vocals, ambient muted trumpet and fugel horn, ambient guitar chords, ambient pedal steel FX, ambient piano atmospheres, atmospheric bansuri, wood flutes, tin whistles and Irish low whistle, NYC atmospheres, and tonal percussion atmospheres.

This new sample pack is part of Big Fish Audio's KLI series of, which includes a custom Kontakt interface. The Kontakt version of Ambient Skyline 2 includes patches of each sample and loop, and you customize each loop with the "sliced loops" patches. The Sliced Loop patches lay out each individual slice of a loop across the keyboard, making it easy to create new and original custom parts, Big Fish Audio says. You can create, arrange, tweak, and mix the loops and sounds, all within the Kontakt format.
