BLUE BottleRocket Stage 2: Back On The Bottle At 125th AES 2008

October 10, 2008
BLUE BottleRocket Stage 2

Desperate times call for desperate measures, and with the economic crisis, that means regulation in the microphone industry. BLUE regulates the cost of utilizing their Bottle Cap switchable capsules with the BottleRocket Stage 2, which won't cost you $4,000 like the original Bottle while providing the Bottle features you crave.

[PH] ZIONA YOUNG: Hi. I'm Ziona Young with Blue Microphones. We make application-specific microphones. For whatever studio need you may have, we've got a microphone for it.

Our new product for the show is the BottleRocket Stage 2 microphone. It's a tube microphone with an external power supply, just like the bottle mic and the cactus mic, but it works the same as the bottle microphone in that it's got the interchangeable capsules, so you can get into that versatility of the bottle mic family without having to spend quite as money as the bottle microphone and still get a nice tube sound. And the map on this product is $1,595.

I need awesome gear... I'd like a free gear catalog!
My opinion is awesome. I'd like to take a gear survey
