JAIME ENDICK: Hi. I'm Jaime Endick with Gearwire.Com here at AES, and we're here with Scott from Blue Microphones and...

SKIPPER WISE: Skipper.

JAIME ENDICK: ...and Skipper. Tell us a little about yourself and your company.

SKIPPER WISE: Blue microphones has been around for about 13 years now and as you people know of our company, they know that we're an innovator in design and technology, and one of our newest offering is coming off the heels of our most successful product which is the snowball, which is the first professional USB microphone, is our Snowflake, and this is a portable version of our USB microphone. The way this works is that it holds up comfortably like this, and inside will be a cable, a little USB mini cable. You can take off that, put that away, and then what you can do is if you have a laptop, you can put it on your screen, let's say this is your screen, and it can sit there and you can use this with one of the applications that you might have, let's say like a DAW of some sort or let's say you're using a voice recognition type of software or a telephone internet kind of software like Skype that sits on a laptop. Or if you want to put it on your desktop, you can actually put it like that.

JAIME ENDICK: Wonderful.

SKIPPER WISE: And this has got a cardiod-only pattern, so it's got one of the offerings of our snowball, and it has the same circuit design and the same fidelity. And this is going to be retailing at $79 and have a street price of around $59

JAIME ENDICK: Wow.

SKIPPER WISE: And it will be out and shipping hopefully within the next four to six weeks.

JAIME ENDICK: Okay. That's great. And this is the newest of the Blue Microphone products.

SKIPPER WISE: This and the Joe mic which we're going to show you next.
