Blue Sky EXO2 Monitoring System Debuts With Desktop Remote Control Hub And Smaller Sub
It looks like Blue Sky's original EXO monitoring system was so good that all that could be done to improve it was make it smaller and easier to integrate into a desktop workstation setup. That brings us to the brand new EXO2 ($499 MSRP) full-range stereo near-field monitoring system, which offers the same performance features as the original EXO with the addition of a desktop remote control hub and a very compact subwoofer.
Even smaller than that of the original, the EXO2's SUB measures 10" (H) x 9" (W) x 11" (D) and integrates easily into any workspace, with the same performance of the original EXO system 14" SUB. The SAT measures 8" (H) x 5" (W) x 5" (D) and can be wall-mounted with BT Technologies BT-33 Brackets or OmniMount’s 10 Series of wall and ceiling brackets.
The EXO2 has also two 3-inch, 2-way satellites with 1-inch soft-dome tweeter, a separate 8-inch subwoofer for extended low-frequency response, 160W of total system power (35W per satellite, 90W subwoofer), a desktop remote control and connection hub, XLR / TRS inputs, RCA inputs, and a 3.5 mm mini jack input.
