Royalties: Interview With BMI's SVP Phil Graham Part Two

June 22, 2007
BMI's Phil Graham

In Part Two of my conversation with Phil Graham, Senior Vice-President of Artist and Publisher relations with BMI, we get around to talking about how a composer's work is paid for when it is used on television. Some background: When a song is inserted into a TV show, that insertion is supposed to be logged by the TV producer onto what's called a "cue sheet". We pick up the discussion right at that point. Check out this interview's Part 1 here.
