BTE Audio

Hasn't BTE Audio already released enough parallel EQ algorithms? I'd like to see them try a perpendicular EQ. Now that'd really be something!  

It's like BTE Audio made a Faustian deal with Satan where they'd get repeat exposure on Gearwire, but in exchange, they'd have to spend eternity making and updating EQ algorithms. I guess it could be worse. They do make some pretty sweet EQ plugins.  

The good folks at BTE Audio seem to never tire of crafting EQ algorithms, and they couldn't be prouder of their latest algorithm, the PEQ4. Here's a fun fact -- the previous three PEQ algorithms were for program equalizers while number four is a parallel parametric EQ.  

The Anglophiles over at BTE Audio still have more British EQ algorithms than American EQ algorithms, but the good ol' U.S. of A. is catching up with AEQ4. Go 'merica!  

Just like British Military Intelligence, there have been other versions of BTE Audio BEQ, each with it's own designated audio jurisdiction, and BEQ5 handles the most sensitive operations. We'd love to tell you which engineers are using this "equalising" (sic) algorithm, but then we'd have to kill you.  

Because history repeats itself and British bands like The Killers revert to the dreamy synth sound reminiscent of fellow countryman's music from the early 80s, BTE Audio's latest -- the BEQ4 British Equalizer Algorithm -- comes at an appropriate time. . .

How about that? The Killers aren't from Britain? That's news to me.  

BTE Audio is up to a third British Equaliser (or Equalizer if your flag has stars on it). The BEQ3 has algorithms that aim for the specific Class AB sound of British console EQs from the early 1970s.  

BTE Audio has designed up another Program Equalizer Algorithm, the PEQ3. Like the PEQ2, it features "Air Band," a versatile boost only high frequency shelving band.  

BTE claims that their new Program Equalizer, the PEQ2, utilizes an "air band" to emulate rare mid-90s program EQs. What does a group of jerks playing imaginary instruments have to do with Program Equalization?  

BTE's AEQ3 shies away from the vague label of "British" sounding plugins for something equally as vague with a dose of hot dogs and baseball -- American sounding EQ. More specifically, its modeled after the symmetrical...
