Buchla 272e Polyphonic FM Tuner Module: Starring Ezra Buchla, Richard Devine and Alessandro Cortini (Video)
January 21, 2011
What's better than a synth module with an FM tuner built-in? Why, a module with four FM tuners built-in! The Buchla 272e Polyphonic FM Tuner is just that, a four-voice (station?) FM tuner controllable via CV.
We checked out the Buchla 272e Polyphonic FM Tuner at the Buchla and Associates Winter NAMM booth to hear exactly what this thing sounds like - and we weren't the only ones. Richard Devine and Alessandro Cortini caught word of the 272e and had to see for them selves. Buchla had the 272e feeding a pair of vocoder modules for some quasi-musical signal mangling.

you left out the name of the person being interviewed
Another star of this interview is Jon Schatz, the person actually being interviewed. Give credit where it is due, guys. We wouldn't understand much about which knobs do what without his intricately detailed knowledge of the system.
