Cableguys Filtershaper 2 Adds Filtering And Control Options
Since the last time you told that creepy Cableguys company that you had no room in your life for new friends, you may have had a change of heart. Maybe.
The release of Cableguys Filtershaper version 2 (Mac / Win; $69 MSRP) just might be enough to have you consider letting it back in, or at the very least, its VST effect plugin.
Version 2 adds a parallel routing option for FilterShaper's two filters; individual controls for both panning and volume in Parallel mode for each filter; free-running LFOs so that you can set the speed of the LFO loop length in Hz or rhythmic units, independent of the host tempo; modulation of the Master Pan Control; and several overall improvements to the user interface. The interface is now clean and uncluttered with a "refined" waveform editing area. All controls are available within one single window.
FilterShaper 2 is available now from Cableguys. For a free demo version, visit the company Web site, before the company visits you.

Updated to 2.1, adding AU support
It's Jakob from Cableguys. We just added AU support to all our plugins, so you Logic-Mac users can now wobble-filter or sidechain-effect-volume-modulate, too.
