Think you're a superstar? Then submit your original music to Cakewalk, Intel, and OurStage.com's Superstars Songwriting Competition for the chance to win cash, win special prize packages from the contest's sponsors, gain fame and acclaim, and more.

To five winners from each music genre and to one lucky grand prize winner, more than $50,000 in prize packages will be awarded; prizes included Intel Core-processor based computers, Cakewalk Sonar Producer software, Cakewalk V-Studio 100 or Cakewalk V-Studio 20 recording solutions, and promotion to OurStage.com. The Grand Prize is $10,000 cash that can be used to record an album, go on tour, or do anything related to being a "superstar."

Artists are invited to submit original music in six different music genres: rock, pop, country, singer-songwriter, urban, and Latin. The submitted tracks will be judged by fans of Intel’s Facebook page, and entrance to the Superstars competition is free but is limited to residents of the United States. Submissions may be created using any recording software or gear, not just Cakewalk's. If entrants don't already have recording software on hand, they may download a fully-functioning 30-day trial version of Sonar Producer to complete their original tracks.

The Superstars Songwriting Competition is now accepting submissions for the genres of pop, rock, and country and will continue to do so through August 22, 2010. Click to submit an original song. The next three genres for competition -- singer-songwriter, urban, and Latin -- will be open for entry from September 1 through October 22, 2010.

After the genre programs complete, the Top 5 in each genre competition will receive prize packs, and the Top 20 of every music format will also roll into a Grand Prize competition with details to be announced at a later time.
