Cakewalk SONAR 7 Helps Phil Hargreaves' Acoustic Wanderings All Make Sense In The End

Digital Audio Workstations like Cakewalk SONAR 7 sure have it all over the old approach to editing field recording, according to music veteran Phil Hargreaves. When mixing down a multi-locational odyssey that took place up, down, around and throughout the city of Liverpool, Hargreaves and fellow saxophonist Caroline Kraabel realized that if it weren't for Cakewalk's trusty SONAR 7, they'd have gone bloody mad.
Using location sound as a musical element is elegant and experimental, sure; but just you try editing it on tape. We don't think so.
