Carvin CS6: California Single Isn't Just Lindsay Lohan's New Nickname
Carvin is very excited about their new CS6 California Single guitar, and they boast that their ergonomic and tone enhancing designs will put an end to players sacrificing comfort for tone or vice versa.
The CS6 combines a Mahogany neck and body with the head of a rabbit, and by "with the head of a rabbit," I really mean a hand selected Curly Flamed Maple top. The seasoned luthiers in Carvin's California Custom shop ensure that the guitars look good and feel good. The set-in Carvin Rapid Play Neck has an exclusive "heel-less" design for improved fret access so you always hit that 22nd fret bend to put the cherry on your ultimate solo run. Not to mention, with a neck set five inches into the body so that it extends beneath the neck pickup, you've got superior stability and sustain in a single-cutaway guitar.
Players have their choice between Tune-O-Matic or Floyd Rose bridges, because there are two types of guitarists: those who think a whammy bar is cool, and everyone else. The CS6 drops on a couple of Carvin's tone enhancing C22 Classic Humbuckers.
