Summer NAMM 2005: Casio CTK series video
SPEAKER: So, our entry-level keyboard. It basically has what every other entry-level keyboard have which is 100 tones, 100 rhythms, 100 songs. The one unique feature about this product is in this price point is the mic input and mic volume, which is really neat. No other manufacturer does that with their entry-level keyboards.
This is the second product in the CTK line. Very interesting where we've taken a real synth sound source, developed it, and put it into this particular keyboard. This has the same sound chip as our very infamous -- famous PX line. It has 500 tones, a three-step lesson system, a mic volume as well as a mic input right here on the front. It also sports a USB terminal right in the back that's why you could use the Song and Sound Expansion functions as well as use this product to be a USB controller for softsynths. It's touch-sensitive so if you're using any softsynths, if you are using any recording software and you need a cheap controller, this is probably your guy. Fabulous, fabulous value for the price. It totally blows away anything else in its price point.
CTK-900. Interesting about the CTK-900 it actually acts more like a WK, one of our 76-note wider keyboards. CTK-900 has a real synth chip in it. It's a Z chip. It's highly powerful. Be careful you'll burn yourself. It has one-touch digital drawbar organs. It has piano one touch. It has over 800 tones, rhythms. It's a fabulous piece. It basically does 60% of what a Triton would do, what a Triton LE would do for a far lower price. We're very happy that this 61-note keyboard really is the entry level to our WK line.
