CEntrance took the next logical step after creating the MicPort Pro USB Mic Preamp with the AxePort Pro USB Direct Box. It's a compact interface for guitarists, bassists, and woodsmen looking for portable USB or forceful hatchet entry into their computers. They'll be showing it off at NAMM.

The tubular interface offers 24-bit/96kHz performance as a USB interface, and will be compatible with pretty much every DAW on Windows Vista and Mac OSX systems. The AxePort Pro borrows the same loud headphone preamp and input / output level knobs as the MicPort Pro.

AxePort Pro is also bundled with Native Instruments' Guitar Combos amp emulation software, the CEntrance ASIO/GSIF Universal Driver, a belt clip, a three foot guitar cable, a six foot USB cable, and a velvet carrying pouch. This should provide everything a guitarist needs to portably record except the laptop and DAW.
