Three redesigned and enhanced models for the new Intense! V2 Passive Portable PA Speaker System have been announced by Cerwin-Vega!, a member of the Stanton Group: the 15-inch INT-152 V2 two-way full range speaker, the dual 15-inch INT-252 V2 two-way full range speaker, and the 18-inch INT-118s V2 passive subwoofer.

Each portable model is ideal for PA applications such as live sound, program playback, and DJ systems, or as installed units in facilities, venues, and clubs.

According to the manufacturer, version 2 (V2) models offer improved product components, better sound quality, and a lower price than the first versions. Units in the Intense! V2 Passive Portable PA Speaker System offer stronger compression drivers due to the addition of more steel; upgraded and more durable cabinet construction; larger compression driver magnets for better performance; and a new positive temperature coefficient (PTC) thermistor that protects the tweeter and acts as a self-repairing fuse, allowing the speaker to return to normal operation once the input fault is corrected.

Overall, the INT-152 V2, INT-252 V2, and INT-118s V2 include steel frame woofers, 34 mm compression drivers, a PTC thermistor protected tweeter, a black carpet finish, 15 mm reinforced cabinet, Speakon and 1/4-inch inputs, and metal handles with the stamped CV logo.
