For Native Instruments Kontakt, Cinematique Instruments has released two new Drum Boxes sample libraries: Electro Partner and Rude Boy.
Drum Boxes, what is that? The basic principle of Drum Boxes is a four-fold layer drum set with loads of edit options, Cinematique Instruments says. Each Drum Boxes sample pack is equipped with an interesting selection of sounds for specific genres.
Electro Partner is an exclusive module with drum sets designed to suit electronica and dance music. This Drum Boxes pack features the following:
- Glitchy Cans: an assortment of thin glitchy noises
- Rythmus Partner: a wooden rhythm box from the 60s
- Noiz and Raw: a selection of collected noises and other digital and analog sounds
- Electro 20: an assortment of sounds from the Korg MS20 Drum Library. Sounds are available in 3 variations: original, heavily processed, and distorted
- 3 Sets of hi-hats and a selection of toms and useful percussion
If electronica isn't your thing, you might like Rude Boy, the alternative friendly pack, which comes along with the following drum sets:
- Beach Towel Drums: a selection of a natural acoustic drum kit recorded very dry and close
- Rehearsal Drums: a raw rehearsal drum kit recorded very roughly
- Toy Drums: a kids toy
