Cinematique Instruments Jetlag: New Pattern Generator For NI Kontakt
For Native Instruments Kontakt, Cinematique Instruments has released Jetlag, a sequencer-based pattern generator that serves as a non-harmonic percussive module. Finally, a good use for jet lag! You can use Jetlag to give your music production a contemporary percussive foundation, as well as create groovy electronic and undefined patterns or add-on loops.
Jetlag comes with three different sound groups, which can create numerous sound colors: There are six warm bass drum sounds in different lengths, an assortment of six differnet rim shots also arranged according to length and thickness, and a collection of well sorted noises and clicks.
For modifying the character of your pattern, Jetlag provides the Continuous Random Pattern feature that works as a self-generating pattern and fills every 16th note with a different sound / pause. In addition, there are other options to change the sound to your very own requirements: lowpass and highpass filter (with a random highpass and lowpass modulator); distortion, Lo-Fi, and speaker switches; a cacophony switch; a separate fader to set the length and volume of all three tracks; and a separate slider to set the amount of two delays and a reverb.
Jetlag runs in standalone mode as well as in-sync to your host application. To use Jetlag, just select one of the six different samples by clicking the left mouse button and moving it over on the 16th note of your choice to play the sound. Jetlag also provides shuffle and tempo modes, plus load / save switches to save or recall your entire setting of Jetlag.
Cinematique Instruments Jetlag is now available for Kontakt for 17 EUR (approximately $23). For more details on the new sequencer-based pattern generator, visit cinematique-instruments.com.
