Circuit Bending 101: Building Your Tool Kit

June 29, 2007
Circuit Bending Podcast For Beginners: Part Two

Again, for those who do not know at this point, circuit bending is the art of creating new electronic noise out of old electronics like speak and spells, halloween toys, and other such devices. In the past few videos from the circuit bending workshop, we have seen a variety of problems that come about while bending.

In this podcast, Bill Holland covers the basic tools that should be in your kit, along with a list of other things to bring along. Also, check out our video corresponding to this from WZRD with Dan Demchuk. Also pay attention to the warnings about using capacitors, and Bill looks back on his college years with Analog Wankery.

More information on circuit bending can be found of Reed Ghazala's Anti-theory website.
