They're made out of molded plastic for weight reduction. This one actually only weighs 22 pounds. The batter works for up to eight hours when it's fully charged. They also have lots of features and can be considered small portable PA systems.

They have multichannel. This particular model has a channel for a microphone with an effects send so you can add reverb to your singing or speaking. It also has a low-Z and a hi-Z jack so it can accommodate any kind of a microphone. The instrument channel has a gain section and a clean section. It has built-in effects and a separate send so you can control the amount of effect that goes to that channel.
