Crosstalk 51, Part 2: So, How Much Ya Tweakbench?

September 10, 2008
Crosstalk 51, Part 2

Your humble Crosstalk panelists have learned a few things in life the hard way: never wear the same pair of socks twice, never build a recording studio under an HVAC trunk distribution hub, and never trust a free VST -- unless that free VST is from a little website called Tweakbench.

We've never really been big fans of economic theory, so any lone developer who can generate such quality musical tools while simultaneously debunking the whole TINSTAAFL* dictum has easily earned a place of high Crosstalk-esteem, so we decided to dedicate a little more focused airtime to these eight-bit Johnny Appleseeds.

Pitch Wheel

By: Hero Coward (not verified)

So whats with the pitch wheel used on Bills voice?
He talks, and at the end of the sentence he raises his voice, in a way like he wants you to understand.
Bloody annnoying habit, and no its not his accent its a voice inflection.

i'm saving up to get that fixed.

Got to take my throat into the shop. My mod wheel's not working either. I sometimes abandon my voice training because I drink too much coffee, and stress out about prepping the show while writing scripts for the other videos. You're totally right. I should calm down and warm myself up before we record. Thanks for the critique, man.
