Crown Macro-Tech i Series: We Promise It Has Nothing To Do With iPods
According to Crown International and many of its users' own opinions, the Macro-Tech series is one of the most reliable, best sounding analog power amplifier line out there. After significant research, development of newer technologies and a visit to the local necromancer, the series is being globally relaunched as the Macro-Tech i Series, beginning at Musikmesse.
Consisting of three models [the MA-5000i, MA-9000i and MA12000i], the Macro-Tech i Series now uses Crown's advanced Class-I circuitry to efficiently deliver more power and cut weight in half at the same time. The i Series also has comprehensive status, fault and load monitoring via Ethernet thanks to Harman Pro's HiQnet and System Architect software. Voltage differences between countries are nullified by a power-factor corrected power supply.
Like other Crown amps, the Macro-Tech i Series falls under Crown's Three-Year, No-Fault, Fully Transferable Warranty. Expect them to ship in April.
