Daisy Rock Founder Tish Ciravolo On The Latest DR Girl-Power Axes
TISH CIRAVOLO: Hi! I'm Tish Ciravolo, president and founder of Daisy Rock Girl Guitars, the only company that makes guitars for girls. We were the first, we were the only for a long time, but we're definitely the ones the whole trend to say that girls should play guitar. I'm at the NAMM Show 2000 in Anaheim, California, and I want to just show you some of our newest models.
Here we have behind me our new Rebel Rockit Series. This is the Rebel Rockit Heart. This has got the Daisy Rock single-coil pickups on it. We've got Grover Tuners. We've got our beautiful heart inlays. This is a really awesome, awesome, guitar, whammy bar.
It just doesn't get more fun than this does, except if you move right over to here which is our Rebel Rockit Supernova. It's got some amazing colors on. It's got Grover Tuners, it's got the Wilkinson Bridge, it's got the Seymour Duncan single-coil pickups, it's got a pickguard that I specifically designed for this line, really fun, kind of a retro '50s guitar. As you can see, it's got some sparkly paint to it, the Seafoam Green and the pink. It's just a beautiful, beautiful guitar.
And down below here, I just wanted to touch on these two. These two -- These are like our more of our Retro Series that we're doing. I would pick it up if my arm wasn't in a cast [LAUGHS]. This is the Stardust Retro-H De-Luxe Series. We've had our Stardust Retro-H De-Luxe since we started the company. This is our 2007 model. As you can see, it's got a really awesome Bigsby on it. It's got a pickguard. It's very throwbackto the '50s style guitar. It is one of the most fun guitars and really, really beautiful guitars that you can play on stage today.
And I'll move right over to here. Look at this guitar rig here. This is our Tomboy Series. This our 2007 newest color design for the Tomboy Series. It's got this really awesome pickguard. You can see the sparkle guitars on it. It's got a push-pull coil tap pickup on it. These will be referred to as our Tomboy Deuce for the year 2007, and I don't think anything better named for a girl guitar than a Tomboy Guitar.
Thank you very much. This is Tish Ciravolo, Daisy Rock Girl Guitars. Come down and say hi. Thank you for supporting us. We love it! Bye bye!
